A work truck can't earn while it's covered in bees. A couple thousand had clustered up underneath a trailer in Ontario — a classic travelling swarm that stopped to rest on the first shaded, sheltered spot it found.
This is a good look at how we actually do it: a proper bee vacuum, which draws the bees gently into a ventilated holding box without hurting them, instead of a chemical spray that would just scatter an otherwise calm swarm (that's our tech working the hose in the photo). Because it was a resting swarm and not an established hive, it was a quick, low-difficulty removal — a 2 out of 5.

How to keep it from happening again
- A swarm clustered on a vehicle, fence, or tree is resting, not attacking — don't spray it and don't try to drive it off; a scattered swarm is harder and more dangerous to remove.
- Give a resting swarm space and call for a live removal, especially if it's on something you need to use that day.
- In spring, park away from blooming trees and known swarm paths, and glance at shaded undersides before moving a vehicle that's been sitting a while.
